This page provides information and rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). California residents have the right to direct a business that sells or shares their personal information to stop selling or sharing such information.

OUR CURRENT PRACTICES

Starpower Group, LLC d/b/a Alek Carrera Group ("we," "us," "our") does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. If this changes in the future, we will update this notice and provide the required opt-out mechanisms.

For the purposes of California law, "sell" means renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating a consumer's personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. "Share" means disclosing or making available a consumer's personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not for monetary consideration.

The fact that you are browsing our website, interacting with listings, or communicating with us does not mean that we sell or share your personal information. We may disclose personal information with service providers or contractors to perform business functions, including hosting, analytics, marketing support, and real estate services. Such disclosures are subject to contractual restrictions and are not considered a sale or sharing under California law.

GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL

We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information, to the extent required by applicable law. If your browser or device transmits a GPC signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser or device.

SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not collect sensitive personal information (as defined under the CPRA) beyond what is necessary to provide our real estate advisory services, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger the right to limit use under California law. Accordingly, we do not offer a separate "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" opt-out at this time.

OPT-OUT REQUESTS (PRECAUTIONARY PROCESS)

Even though we currently do not sell or share personal information, you may submit a request directing us not to sell or share your personal information now or in the future. You may do so by:

RESPONSE TIMEFRAME

We will respond to verified opt-out requests within 45 days of receipt. If we require additional time, we will notify you within the initial 45-day period and may extend our response by an additional 45 days, for a maximum total of 90 days.

VERIFICATION PROCESS

For security, we may request additional information to verify your identity and confirm that we process personal information about you. If we are unable to verify your identity, we may deny the request and will notify you of the reason for denial and any available appeal rights.

AUTHORIZED AGENTS

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. Authorized agents must provide: (1) proof of authorization; and (2) sufficient information for us to verify both your identity and the agent's credentials. We may require written permission signed by you unless the agent holds a valid power of attorney under California Probate Code Sections 4000–4465.

CHILDREN'S DATA

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. If a parent or guardian believes we have collected personal information from a child, they may request deletion by contacting info@alekcarreragroup.com.

NON-DISCRIMINATION

You will not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights. We will not deny services, charge different prices, reduce service quality, or provide different terms because you exercised any rights under this notice or applicable law.

FINANCIAL INCENTIVES

We do not offer any financial incentive programs, loyalty programs, or price or service differences that are related to the collection, retention, sale, or sharing of your personal information.

CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED

We may collect identifiers, commercial information, professional information, internet activity, approximate location, communications, and information relevant to real estate transactions, as described in our Privacy Policy.

PURPOSES FOR COLLECTION

We collect personal information to provide and improve services, respond to inquiries, facilitate real estate transactions, conduct marketing (with consent where required), and comply with legal obligations. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

DISCLOSURES TO SERVICE PROVIDERS AND THIRD PARTIES

We may disclose personal information to service providers, contractors, brokers, developers, escrow companies, analytics providers, professional advisors, law enforcement, and others as necessary to provide services or as required by law. These disclosures are not considered selling or sharing when subject to legally required contractual terms.

GLOBAL USERS

This opt-out right is specific to California residents. If you are located outside California, your privacy rights may differ. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information regarding your rights under the GDPR, Brazil's LGPD, and Mexico's LFPDPPP, among others.

CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE

We may update this notice at any time. The updated version will be posted with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review this notice periodically to stay informed about our practices.
